Acting Up Youth Workshops
Registration Opens January 1, 2026
Part of the 2025-2026 Season
Unlock your potential in a week-long, hands-on performance experience! Students will explore acting, singing, movement, and improvisation while building confidence and stage presence. Each day combines ensemble-building games, monologue work, group scenes, music rehearsals, movement exercises, and improv activities. Participants will also learn practical skills like audition techniques, creating original characters, and building a theatre résumé and headshot.The week culminates in a showcase performance, where students present their choice of two pieces from their portfolio—monologue, music selection, group scene, original character, or choreography—demonstrating everything they’ve learned. This camp is perfect for young performers looking to grow their skills, gain performance experience, and have a fun, immersive theatre week.

Calling all students in grades 6–12!
Join us for a delightfully dark, funny, and heartfelt musical adventure as we bring The Addams Family to life on stage.
Auditions
Monday, April 6th & Tuesday, April 7th
6:00–8:00 PM
Location: TBD
Callbacks (if needed): Thursday, April 8th
Who Can Audition?
• Open to students in grades 6–12
• No prior theatre experience required
• All roles are open!

What to Expect
• Cold readings from the script (no memorization!)
• Short dance/movement combination
• Singing audition:
Wednesday Addams: Prepare a cut from “Pulled”
All other roles: 24–32 bars (about 1 minute) of a song of your choice
• A cappella or backing track welcome
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in.

Come ready to try something new, take direction, and have fun!

Rehearsals begin April 13th
Typically Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and occasional Saturdays
Performances: June 6–7
